Call Of Duty Black Ops ... Why the Hype

Last year it was MW2 that made us line up outside our favourite shop just to get a copy of the game, this year its black ops. BUT is it really worth all the hype that is being put towards it... is it really ... I don't think so 

 Its lines like the one above that make me fringe when i think about lining up for 32 hours just to buy a game that i can get in the mail that same day, i don't know what it wrong with people these days but they will do anything just for a game that will strip them of their social life for the next 6 months ( personal experience). Call of Duty Black Ops is expected to surpass MW2 as being the biggest entertainment launch in history, i commend the developers as they have been able to generate such power that they have people taking sick days of work just to play 5 hours of a game. i feel sorry for the many partners out their who are watching their partners prepare to lose their social life for the next year. 

With the massive flop of Medal Of Honour, this has left the FPS Genre wide open this quarter and this is why i think Black Ops will shine, as it is the only shooter out this year that can live up to MW2. Apart from that there is no other reason to buy it. MW2 players are just bored of 24/7 nukes ( yes Infinity Ward take from Black Ops this is how you make a game). In a way the hype for this game is needed but the main question is ... Is it worth it
